Box undertook the duties of Quantity Surveyor and Employer’s Agent on this impressive double-fronted house in Holland Park for a private client.
The scheme included removing the existing roof and building up an additional storey before reinstating a new roof. The second floor also benefited from additional space.
The existing basement was also extended, which required extensive temporary propping.
The house was fully stripped out with new MEP installed throughout and impressive high-end finishes. The extended basement housed a refurbished pool, gym, sauna, steam room, and entertaining space, with a large orangery at the foot of the garden.
The completed scheme extended to a GIA of approximately 13,000 sq ft.
