BOX Associates successfully completed the refurbishment of the existing restaurant transforming it into the upscale dining destination, Silva at Mayfair.

Silva Restaurant offers Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, drawing on fresh, seasonal ingredients and traditional flavours. Located in the heart of Mayfair, one of London’s most prestigious and vibrant neighbourhoods, the project involved stripping out the existing finishes and reimagining the space to offer a truly high-end dining experience.

The ground and first floors were redesigned to feature elegant dining areas and a bar on each level, with kitchen located on the ground floor. The second floor was designated as the back-of-house area, incorporating a kitchen, beverage storage rooms, equipment storage, and a cold room. The project consisted of incorporating new electrical fittings and few alterations to the mechanical services as well.

This refurbishment has elevated the restaurant into a premier dining destination, offering a seamless blend of luxurious design and exceptional Mediterranean-inspired cuisine in the heart of Mayfair.

So much so that Box held our Christmas lunch here!

This Knightsbridge house has been completely refurbished and a new basement level added. Existing cornicing and wall and ceiling mouldings have been restored with exquisite marble and joinery installed throughout the property.

Box acted as Quantity Surveyor and Contract Administrator.

BOX managed the refurbishment of two luxury flats in Coleherne Court, a prestigious residential building located in the prime location of Old Brompton Road, London. The project consisted of integrating modern amenities, including underfloor heating, state-of-the-art kitchen appliances, smart home technology and high-quality bathroom fittings. Despite the historical setting, the refurbished flats offer all the conveniences expected in a modern luxury property.

The Role:

The successful candidates will be required to have between 3-10 years relevant construction industry experience from either a consultancy or contracting background. You will be working on high-end residential, hotel, restaurant and leisure projects located in London with a value of £4M to £20M.

Form and develop sustainable long-term relationships with new and existing clients.

‘ReBase’ Wellness and Recovery studio – an exciting new concept which is now under construction in central London.

BOX have been managing the project since the initial design stages. The works consist of full fit out of the GF reception and Basement main area, below ground drainage alterations in a live commercial building, specialist equipment (Cryo Unit, Hyperbaric Chamber, etc) installation and a new staircase.

Site is due to be handed over late April 2024.

Box have a number of new projects lined up for the new year.

The project sectors include residential, restaurant, hotel and leisure.

2024 will also see us start on site on our student accommodation and cultural centre projects.

Many of these projects are in central London but we also have an extensive network in France and Spain.

Box has been part of the consultant team working with developer Valouran on the planning submission for the redevelopment of properties on Westbourne Grove. There will be a retained facade with roof top mansard extension to provide public house use at basement and ground floor level, with residential units at first to fourth floor.

Aqua's LUCi restaurant is now open in Covent Garden.

This is the second restaurant we have completed for the Aqua Group.

This Covent Garden space has been converted into a restaurant over three levels. The basement houses the kitchen and baking facility. Luci restaurant boasts 200 covers, set across a first-floor restaurant and a ground-floor grab-and-go counter.

This project consisted of constructing a contemporary 2-storey private new build residence (ground floor and basement) and a single storey separate building/room at ground level.

Box Associates were involved in delivering Taj Hotel's House Of Ming Brand into UK. This unique restaurant will bring a new standard to the Chinese cuisine in London.

Box provided Project Management, Quantity Surveying and Contract Administration to complete this challenging fast track project. Works included full refurbishment of the existing space, new services, new toilet facilities and complete change over of the existing kitchen to meet the Chinese cuisine requirements.
